Provide training to the TAAC-Air, CSTC-A SAO, and future Defense Security Cooperation Management Operations- Afghanistan office that will support cooperation between GIRoA and the US Embassy mission.
Primary duty location is TAAC-Air 438th AEW at FOB Oqab and the AAF Kabul Air Wing.
Two subcontract personnel will train the AAF-equivalent office of TAAC-Air CJ4L to develop the functions, processes and effective execution of vehicle fleet management, aerial port operations, aircraft parts supply training, logistics force development, logistics policy, acquisition requirements/spares forecasting within both the AAF and ANA.
Develop, maintain and coordinate Tashkil personnel and equipment authorizations for AAF logistics functions.
Instruct in the development of air movement plans in coordination with MoD, AAF A4, Aircraft Command and Control Center (ACCC), Operations, and Logistics units.
Instruct in the development of a variable supply and distribution system that will allow the AAF to support the new Vehicle Maintenance Depot, ammunition-related operations and existing general supply operations that support and sustain the AAF air wings.
Coordinate interactions, issuances, and requests between U.S. Trainers and the Afghan Supply System (for example MoD Forms 4, 8, 9, and 14), and teach instruct AAF personnel the processes for submitting and tracking these requests through approval and distribution.
Continue the training development of the ASD, the planned integration for aviation contractors, and transition planning for ANA operations.
Manage the instruction for the development and training of the ASD aviation supply software systems and the MoD system for general supply operations.
Promote training coordination and cooperation between the AAF A4 staff and wings and the logistics ANA Corps staffs and MoD GSG4.
TAA to ensure the AAF A4 staff interacts closely with coalition advisors on the continued development of the aviation enterprise.
Army/Marine Aviation or Air Force E7 thru O5 with vehicle fleet management, aircraft parts supply training, logistics force development, logistics policy, acquisition requirements/spares forecasting experience.
10 years of logistics experience, of which 5 years were in a supervisory role
Applicants must be able to pass CENTCOM medical, dental and other CRC-related deployment requirements at an approved CRC. Applicants must be in possession of a current/active US tourist Passport (with further eligibility to receive – if not already in possession of – a current Afghanistan visa). If candidate is already deployed, he/she must supply appropriate documentation satisfying these requirements along with confirmation that he/she is in physical possession of government-issued PPE to demonstrate compliance with CENTCOM deployment requirements.
Willing to work and live in Afghanistan and understand they can be further assigned to any location in Afghanistan based upon the needs of the U.S. Government
Willingness to work in hostile areas without a weapon
Willingness to deploy and live on forward operating bases without regular U.S. Post/Base Exchange and Commissary facilities
Experience training Afghan Aviation elements.
Operational OEF and or OIF experience.
Experience training Afghan National Security Forces supply system or warehousing
Aerial Port operations experience
More than 10 years of logistics management experience
