CACI International has a great opportunity for a TS/SCI cleared Program Manager supporting our client in Afghanistan.
* This position is contingent upon Sitec 2 contract award*
Project Managers must have demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management methodologies in order to work with intricate, multifaceted projects. They need superb communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a development team and make project presentations. This position also requires a background in managing projects related to application development.
Typical duties include:
Managing the overall coordination of IT applications development projects, from planning through implementation
Setting project scope, priorities, and deadlines, as well as the schedule for deliverables
Facilitating discussions and consensus among various project stakeholders, such as analysts, applications programmers and the Government
The Project Manager has primary responsibility for managing a specific project or projects assigned by the Government to include project requirements, scope, budget, schedule and performance. The PM monitors, adjusts and reports on project performance, budget and schedule. The PM shall provide interim progress reviews to the Government on an as- needed basis. The PM assists with proposing, implementing and enforcing policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports and acquisition documents.
Educational Requirements Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a major field of study which either provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex Automated Information System (AIS) projects or is closely related to the work as described and required by the task. Candidates may not substitute experience for education for t his position.
Certification Requirements: PMI PMP
