Constellis Air Force Material Supervisor in Afghanistan-AFG, Afghanistan
This position is located at Kandahar Airfield, AF.
The Supply Material Supervisor is responsible to the Supply Manager for the smooth and efficient running of the 451st Supply Services at Kandahar Airfield (KAF) in Afghanistan. The 451ST Supply services at KAF comprise of the following services; Aircraft Parts store, Flight Service Centre, Customer Service, Central Storage, Inventory, Inspection and Equipment in support of Military operations. The Supply Material Supervisor is required to liaise with client and customer representatives at all levels in order to maintain excellent working relationships and to ensure further development of OSS services within the 451st Supply areas of responsibility.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Responsible on a daily basis to ensure that sufficient personnel and equipment are available to meet the services required in accordance to the conditions of the Statement of Works.
Responsible for the control of and implementation of planned maintenance of vehicles and equipment including liaison with the contracted maintenance department on critical repairs.
Manage a combined workforce of up to 10 staff ensuring communication with project, client and the customer as required to meet contract objectives.
Ensure all required Health, Safety Security and Environmental regulations are adhered to accordance with Company policy.
Responsible for ensuring that all required training, induction and equipment familiarisation is undertaken by 451st Supply personnel.
Report directly to the Supply Manager with any issues that may directly or indirectly affect service output.
Responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day activities of a busy Supply environment ensuring that all service outputs are carried out as per contract objectives.
The Material Control Supervisor will liaise directly with the technicians to resolve any issues that may arise during the work period.
Maintain and record daily/weekly/monthly statistical information in accordance with agreed customer and client requirements.
Prepare and present reports to the client and customer as requested or directed within the SoW.
Provide advice and support to all staff in the performance of their duties.
Provide information, training and instruction to allow staff to perform their duties safely.
Ensure all leave applications and flights request are arranged in accordance to Company policy.
Carry out any other associated duties as directed by OSS Management to promote Supply daily operations.
Adhere to company Health and Safety Policy and Risk Management Assessments.
Adhere to site safety rules, PPE dress codes and stipulations.
Minimum eight years' service in U.S. Air Force in 2S0X1 career field (preferably 2S7X1)
Proven experience of managing US AF supply and warehouse operations.
Proficient in ES-S IAW AFI 23-101, AFMAN 23-122, AFH23-123.
Proficient knowledge and experience of LIMS-EV Discoverer system.
Sound knowledge experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrates a positive leadership style with an enthusiastic, positive and flexible attitude.
Have sound knowledge and experience of Health, Safety and Environmental matters including Risk Management and control mitigation measures.
Familiar with HAZMAT storage and supply regulations and industry best practices.
Full driving license.
