Accept responsibility of all parts and equipment inventories to include tool box inventories, daily/weekly monthly spot checks operations. Ordering of broken or unserviceable tools and equipment.
Ensure all HAZMAT is disposed of in the correct manner.
Be responsible for the daily operation of the material functions as well as trained for US Postal clerk for mail day pickups. Receiving DHL, delivering and shipping CORE items back to NEI (or any USAF function that requires CORE return)
Be responsible for Quality Control of the Parts tent, issues and receipts of parts.
Ensure stock is on hand, oils, lubes, greases and all HAZMAT and HAZMAT spill related items.
Managing and supervising staff, and coordinating staff training.
Support the day to day compliance and management of the in-theatre Material control processes of VDP/Deferred parts work orders in a competent filing system.
Ensuring USAF and OSS policies are adhered to in the management of the vehicle fleet.
Take ownership of the HAZMAT turn in process, receive and file AF FORM 1348 for documentation.
The MCS shall establish policies and procedures based on objectives. The MCS provides guidance and policy direction in supply and equipment support.
The MCS shall develop plans, programs and policies for the operations, management and administration of current supply programs.
The MCS shall formulate policies, concepts, and procedures to ensure that an effective supply operation is maintained using personnel and equipment.
The MCS shall monitor and review the monthly inventory document for excessive gains/losses and initiates appropriate action as required.
The MCS shall perform item and monetary accounting and inventory stock control.
The MC S shall perform all operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property.
The MCS shall be responsible for facility safety and security.
The MCS will supervisor and coordinate the work of the Material Controllers (MC)
