Job Description

PAE is looking for a Leadership and Behavioral Specialist/Instructor to support one of our DOD customers in Afghanistan:

Leadership and Behavioral Specialist/Instructor serves as a staff expert and consultant for matters relating to the social and cultural dynamics of Afghanistan and its social, political and security elements. They will prepare and deliver training and assessments for RS TAA personnel, Design, plan, and conduct advanced cultural familiarization courses for RS personnel to help Coalition advisors develop insight into the multi-faceted aspects of Afghanistan’s culture and better relate to their Afghan counterparts. They will also serve as a SME and consultant for matters relating leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelors or master’s degree in leadership studies or a closely related field (psychology, political psychology, organizational psychology, sociology, or anthropology) with 4-6 years of relevant experience.

-Master’s degree recommended.

-Recent Afghanistan expertise (within the last 5 years). Qualified instructor.

-Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing and in an organized manner.

-Ability to draft clearly-written professional products (e.g. resource survey forms, short, focused studies, reports, etc.) in the incumbents' professional/academic area.

-Ability to draft general correspondence related to cultural resource topics.

-Participates in the development and presentation of cultural resources training.

-Ability to present standardized and customized training on cultural compliance and preservation philosophy, history, laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.

-Extensive knowledge of conflict resolution

-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).

-Shall have a SECRET clearance
