Position Title Project Manager (OCONUS - Middle East)

Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking a highly motivated and creative Project Manager for an opportunity based in the Middle East and/or Asia. The purpose of this project is to provide technical services including inspections, assessments, repairs, reports, and training for facilities and operations-related projects. Specifically, this project includes electrical inspection and repairs, fire prevention assessment and training, storage and management of government / contractor property, and construction and operations related inspections and assessments at various U.S. military and coalition occupied facilities

This position will require relocation to various countries within the U.S. military’s CENTCOM Area of Responsibility, including Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, and Kuwait, to name a few. This position is contingent upon award of contract.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Serve as the AECOM Representative on-site to the client

  • Plan, direct, and supervise all aspects of the project, including technical, financial, and client satisfaction

  • Providing technical expertise to team members and client, as required

  • Creating and presenting reports relevant to project assignments and as directed by the client

  • Lead, attend, and/or participate in client meetings, as required

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma

  • 5+ years of related task and project management, including 3+ years of experience in electrical contract project management

  • Experience in projects with electrical systems and/or fire protection systems

  • Current and active Secret level security clearance

  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field (electric engineering, fire protection, etc.)

  • Previous experience working overseas

  • Previous experience working with the U.S. military

  • Professional certification/ affiliations - PE, PMP, or MBA
