The Cargo Lead is responsible for the on time and accurate shipping of inventory utilizing the operations in house system and is expected to continually improve the efficiency of the operation through effective use of people, systems, and equipment. This position is accountable for the development and motivation of employees to departmental objectives and company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of the movement of in-bound and out-bound goods with carriers.
Responsible for ascertaining that all requirements are successfully met prior to shipping domestic and/or international freight.
Prepares materials and goods for domestic and international shipping complying with all environmental shipping and storage regulations.
Tracks incoming and outgoing materials and products, Environmental Compliance of all shipments and audits freight invoices.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum five years of experience, of which two must be specialized in an aviation/ aerospace program. Must have completed an apprenticeship and/or formal training as a packer and HAZMAT Preparer.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
S ECURITY CLEARANCE:
- Must possess and/or obtain either an MRPT or a Secret Security Clearance, as required for the position, prior to hire.
