Oversees an organization's operation and maintenance of all ground support equipment (including aviation GSE).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement ground support equipment preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets, and manage a staff of personnel and report to a senior manager.
Diagnoses malfunctions and repairs Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
Advises and trains lower grade workers on diagnosis and repair of less complex repair/maintenance problems, inspects and approves completed maintenance actions.
Position requires a U.S. Department of State Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience, of which at least six (6) years must be specialized in supporting the aerospace/aviation industry.
